Caring for Our Cows

The health and well-being of our cattle are our top priorities. Our cows enjoy a free-range lifestyle, grazing on lush mountain pastures in the summer and open farm fields with proper shelter access in the winter.

• Calving: Calving takes place just 30 yards from our front door in the "Moo-ternity" pen, allowing us to monitor births closely while ensuring a peaceful, stress-free environment for the mother and calf.
• Herd Integration: Human interaction is not just beneficial for the calves but also for the breeders, as it leads to healthier, more manageable livestock. Calves are integrated from the Moo-ternity Pen and join the rest of the herd in the open pastures after they are comfortable with socializing.
